Once upon a time, in a land of myth and magic there existed a wondrous kingdom where writers joined together to craft an epic tale. Heroes and villains fought for what their heart desired. What side are you on? What journey do you seek? What's your story?

The curse has been broken. Magic is back in Storybrooke. Families and friends are reunited. All seems well. Happily ever after was here to stay - or so everyone thought. Unlike fairytales, this did not mean the end of the story. It was only the beginning.

Robin Hood woke from a light slumber. He blinked, momentarily confused as to his whereabouts. This wasn’t the forest. No. It was a castle. How had he gotten here? Ah yes, last night a horrendous storm had driven the Merry Men and himself indoors. This fortress had been the first place they found.

Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he stared at the glass unicorns hanging over the crib before looking down at his child. Roland had curled himself up at the foot of the bed. A smile flickered over the father’s face. This was the life – being a father. He just wished he was able to give Roland more.

A sound below him startled the thoughts of home life from his mind. He stood, careful not to jostle Roland awake. “Watch over him,” he whispered to Friar Tuck, who’d also camped out in the nursery. “I’ll be back.”

Grabbing his quiver of arrows he threw it over his shoulder. Before he left, he loaded an arrow into the bow. With quick steps, Robin managed the flight of steps in a minute or two. With bow raised the search of the intruder began. Granted, it could have been another Merry Men, but it also could’ve been someone (or something else). It was always wise to be prepared and on guard – particularly when living a life of crime.

He came to the foyer. Two people stood before him. “Halt,” he growled. “Who goes you and why do you trespass on this castle? Tell me your reasons for this visit?” Now was not the time to admit he too was trespassing. For all they knew he was guarding the place and that was fine by him.

The storm had been a fierce one and many of their people had taken shelter in the castle to ride out the gale force winds that were currently downing trees and battering homes with any loose debris that had been dislodged. It was deadly out there right now and Snow was frustrated that more could not be done to help those that needed it.

"As soon as the storm clears I want anyone with a horse, two strong hands and back to be helping with the clean up and tending to the injured. There may yet be survivors and we must offer them any help we can. We can only grow as a people if we help each other during our darkest times."

The people around her were cheered by her words and set to their tasks with a zeal that made her smile. Her guards had warned her that there was a group of people taking refuge in an area of the castle with an infant. Knowing that an infant would need more care than the average child, Snow took it upon herself to greet these people personally. Beside her she had servants who had collected what they could to help the babe.

In the foyer she waited, the sound of footsteps greeting her as soon as she entered seeing the familiar face she beamed at him, "Is that any way to greet an old student, Robin?" she asked with a wide smile and a sparkle to her vivid green eyes, her dark hair was pinned away from her face and although she had eschewed the fur trappings of her clothing from the forest she was dressed in fawn breeches and a white tunic and over jacket that swirled around her legs. Snow wasn't one for pomp and circumstance but the cut of the clothes and the material they were made from denoted her status as a royal.

"We heard people had taken shelter here with a child. Do you have need of anything? I had the servants put together a basket for the infant in case you needed supplies. I imagine you'd be running a touch low about how."
