Once upon a time, in a land of myth and magic there existed a wondrous kingdom where writers joined together to craft an epic tale. Heroes and villains fought for what their heart desired. What side are you on? What journey do you seek? What's your story?

The curse has been broken. Magic is back in Storybrooke. Families and friends are reunited. All seems well. Happily ever after was here to stay - or so everyone thought. Unlike fairytales, this did not mean the end of the story. It was only the beginning.

There was so much to adjust to. Elsa had only recently found herself freed from the urn that her own sister had trapped her within. But did she blame her? No. There came a point where maybe Hans had been right, maybe she really was a monster. True, Elsa didn't know what made Anna do it. If anything, the older sister had only accepted it without daring to think her precious sister had done it in spite.

And then Storybrooke happened, or so she assumed the name of the town had been since she had spotted it on at least four different signs. She was a bit frightened, people looked at her, none of them were faces she recognized, and at this point? She had no idea where Arendelle even was, or if her home was even safe. So much for being a Queen. So far that was what? Twice? Three times that she had let down her kingdom?

She must have looked nervous, if only because an elderly woman who identified herself as ' Granny ' had handed Elsa a big slice of chocolate cake. And so Elsa sat, at a booth by herself with a slice of chocolaty goodness before her. She pressed her lips together, offering a smile in the direction of the kind old woman. Elsa didn't have any gold on her however, and she wondered exactly how and when that would end up being a problem as she slowly let her fork glide through the soft layers of the cake.

At long last she sampled the treat, and eyes had gone wide for a split second in amazement of how delightful it was! " Mm.. Wow. " For a split second, Elsa forgot about all of her worries. Even as icy blue eyes looked out from the nearby window at the freshly falling snow that had began to coat the small Maine town.

The Diner wasn't too busy, some people who came in only came in and left with a coffee in hand, others had sat down at their booths and seemed more entertained by one another than by the lone stranger in a long blue gown and lack of any winter gear.

What were the chances that Anna would happen to walk in? Elsa really wasn't sure if it was meant to be, although she hoped. There had to be a reason she was freed from the urn and she doubted that it was so that she could have been put back into it again. No, someone had to free her, someone out there had been there to help her.

notable traits:
~ She loves her sister Anna, she'd sacrifice her life for her.
~ As she gains control of her powers, Elsa uses them for fun like ice sculptures or even freezing ponds for children to skate. Make no mistake about it though, they are still dangerous.
~ She has proven to be a great Queen to Arendelle, but further strives to give back to her kingdom after her actions following her coronation.
~ Elsa loves chocolate like her sister.
[/align]

history:
~ Elsa is young when she learns she is different. She and her younger sister Anna use the gift that Elsa has to play, as she can create ice and snow. However, an accident happens and Anna is nearly killed. This concerns their parents who take the children to the Grand Pabbie to heal Anna and to do something with Elsa's powers. Pabbie heals Anna, as it's only a head injury and she is only left with a platinum streak in her hair. Pabbie also removes any memories of the magic and the incident from Anna. Elsa on the other hand, has to keep her powers and is warned that they will grow. She locks herself in her room and separates herself from her beloved sister. She does this even after the death of her parents. Elsa is alone, even with her sister who is only on the opposite side of her door.

~ Three years later, Elsa is of age to become the new Queen of Arendelle. She and Anna for the first time in years are able to walk alongside one another and bond as sisters do. Elsa is frightened her powers will show and wears a pair of gloves given to her by her late Father that help control her powers. She's able to manage, even at one point almost revealing them, she overcomes it. It isn't until Anna approaches her with Prince Hans, announcing their engagement and that they need Elsa's blessing. Elsa denies them, as she feels that it's crazy to run off with someone you barely know. More so, the tension between Anna and Elsa grow with Anna not wanting to be 'a prisoner' in the castle again. Elsa tells her then to leave, which comes off worse than Elsa meant. Anna does leave, and Elsa's powers do reveal themselves, causing the new Queen to run away as some start to consider her a monster. She flees Arendelle and goes to the Northern Mountains where she begins to build her own ice castle and let her powers loose like they had never been before. She is hurt, hurt she scared off Anna, hurt that she abandoned her kingdom, and yet free at the same time that she no longer has to hold back her emotions as she had her whole life.

~ Another arguement follows when Anna approaches Elsa in her ice palace and tells her that her powers have cursed Arendelle. This only upsets Elsa further,
and unintentionally causes her powers to react again when she strikes Anna in the heart. In her grief, she summons a giant snow creature and Anna, Kristoff,
and Olaf are all sent away by her and her monsterous creation. Once more Elsa is alone and forced to deal with her grief over hurting her sister once again, and freezing Arendelle all by concealing her feelings. Soon, Hans and his men launch an attack on the ice palace. Elsa puts up a fight, but is soon defeated and brought back to Arendelle where she is locked in a dungeon. Hans attempts to persaude Elsa to fix what she has done, but she admits that she cannot do it.
As Hans leaves, Elsa begins to freeze her chains holding her and the cell she sits within. She escapes, but not before her emotions create a blizzard like condition over Arendelle.

Later, Hans confronts her on the mountains where she once more begs for him to just leave her be. She tells him to instead take care of Anna, but he lies and tells her that Anna has already died by the curse that Elsa herself had put on her.
Elsa falls to her knees in despair, the worst news that she could have heard being told to her right then and there. Her emotions are all over, and she's full of grief and unwilling to fight when Hans makes an attempt to kill her once and for all. And yet, Anna rushes to her and saves her sister before freezing. While Elsa is safe, and Hans temporarily knocked out from the blocked attempt to murder Elsa, Elsa is forced to sob over her now frozen sister. Yet, it's true love that would break the curse, and the true love of her sister helps to thaw the ice that Anna is trapped within. At least, the sisters are reunited on better terms and Arendelle itself begins to return to normal as Elsa learns to cope with working to control her powers.

~ A couple years after she becomes Queen, Elsa meets Ingrid, a woman with powers similar to her own and claims to be her aunt. Elsa is overjoyed by this and learns from Ingrid further how to handle her icy powers. All seems well, and Elsa is happy to let Anna meet their aunt. But, Anna has her doubts. Elsa doesn't listen, and in time Ingrid wants Elsa to herself and in doing so she needs to remove Anna all together. Ingrid puts a spell on Anna, and then she attempts to trick Elsa into attacking her own sister. Elsa is unable to do so, and being under a spell, Anna uses a magical urn that traps Elsa within. The same urn that Ingrid herself had once been in until Hans released her. Anna realizes only later what she has done, but by then the urn is missing and Anna is since separated from her sister..
